I dont know if it just me but has anyone noticed that some of the regulars on this site seem to have vanished. :o

Maybe they have won the lottery or gone on holiday :angry2: but a few seemed to spend day and night :angry2: on here but i havnt seen them around for a while.

Is there something i dont know. :angry2:

There are lots of FredT's about, plenty of guys whose surname starts with T and whose first name is Fred. I'm still here too although I don't spend as long on this forum as I used to; trying to cut down on the amount of time I spend at the computer......

this site was originally setup to help each othere out

I disagree..this is not just a chatline....chatlines are where you pay loads of money to talk to other peeps...this site is free but costs a lot of money to run....there is nothing wrong with a joke section..you will find practically every forum on the net has a section for jokes or funnies..

 

You know..those that say they dont like it say they want it back to how it was a year ago...a year ago there was no banter..there was no meets.....i believe it has changed for the better...just because we have Gals/Shazzas/Bammas/Zaffies/Picassos...does not mean that we dont have other interests..and a forum that only delivers technical help will soon die off.

 

Everything changes..if it didnt..then it would soon get left behind to rot..

I think its mainly down to the demise of the predominately Galaxy issues, and more of a general automotive and other related matters site, which makes it difficult for users to rectify their issues with their Sharan/Galaxy and Alhambra, to find solutions easily and quickly without getting lost in a mass of unrelated material. But don't get me wrong, I still think its an excellent source of free and shared information though and a well maintained site. B)

Personally I would say most Galaxy related topics have been covered, until the Gal gets a major face lift there is only so many times you can go over the air con, the brakes etc.

 

The difference with this site is, it has not been pruned old topics are here from years ago, we have an FAQ and a similar topics section (a bit buggy) which help people find things quickly.

 

the site is still being used more than ever just you don't see all the activity, click on latest posts and you will see how many new posts there are.
